Shopping for backpacks

Today Seth went to REI to buy a backpack for the trip. He tried on 4-5 and walked around the store with a 5kg sack inside. Ended up buying the blue one, the Osprey Strata 24. Now serious training can begin!

one week to go until we leave.  Getting very excited!  I pulled out my suitcase and started packing.   Walked 4 miles with my pack in Rock Creek Park, which was nice because I have not walked much since straining my toe 2.5 weeks ago.
